quantify sets of objects, to at least 120, by partitioning collections into equal groups using number knowledge and skip counting

Practice has 24 questions, with 8 in each set. Test has a separate set of 16 questions. A grown-up checks drawings, explanations and practical tasks.

Unit focus

  • Equal groups contain the same number in every group.
  • Skip count the full groups by 2s, 5s or 10s.
  • Count any leftover objects separately after the full groups.
