Before you practise: create and edit stories
Read each supplied draft and the purpose for the change. Compare how an edit develops events, character or setting. Then complete the actual writing tasks; multiple-choice answers alone do not show that you can create a story.
Have paper or a writing device ready. You may dictate using your usual support. Keep the original and revised versions. Some tasks need a peer: exchange specific comments, ask a question and record the reply. An adult checks the completed writing and genuine peer evidence.
Written and spoken tasks: Complete your actual response using writing, speaking or your usual communication support. A parent or teacher checks it against the model and guidance in Review answers. Saving work does not award credit.
